The leaf fell to the ground

The leaf fell to the ground

As it fell the wind ripped it

The leaf was now shreds

I met a student

I met a student

He was a very racist guy

He was just a fly

English

Everyone needs this, but

Not everyone wants it

Good thing it’s compulsory

Like it? Yes

I do like it

So come on down for some

Hearty English

Cactus

            Cacti do          not like

            Mayfly                        and

Cacti    also do             not like

The      apple                pie

Cacti are the most amazing

Things.

            It’s a shame

            They don’t

            Have wings

            I like to

            Look at a

            Cactus,

            But only

            Before

            The spikes

Catch us

I hate

I hate getting up in the morning

I hate having to clean the flooring

I hate falling from a height

I hate possums in the night

I hate the rain falling down

I hate not having a gown

I hate it when my brother plays that song

I hate that my feet can’t fit in my thong

I hate having to do the dishes

I hate that we don’t feed the fishes

I hate to have a runny nose

I hate the sound of a car when it goes

I hate it when that guy tries to sing

I hate it when with a rubber they fling

I hate it when someone stuffs a pie in my face

I hate it when I lose in a race

But the thing that I hate the most

Is when we run out of toast

Happiness

Happiness is having a birthday

Happiness is meeting friends

Happiness is feeding a cat

Happiness is indescribable

Anger

Anger is when the computer has a blue screen of death

Anger is when someone cuts down your tree

Anger is seeing red

Anger is when the life support system fails

Poems

Length varied like a curtain

Similes spread like a cats claws

They have a meaning like life

Poems are enjoyable

Poems

The sea

Deep like a philosopher

Large as the harbour bridge

As blue as the pen I’m using

Fun to swim in

The sea

The fire

It is eating everything in its path

It is a cheetah running to catch its prey

It is an animal, needing to breathe

Needing to eat

It is electric emitting heat and power

It is evil destroying all

It is a fly, it drowns

Hickory Dickery Dock mark 2

Hickory dickory dock

Three mice ran up the clock

The clock didn’t work

So the mouse went away

Hickory dickory dock

Paradox

Is the answer to this question no?

This sentence is false if it snows

“Yields a falsehood when amended to its own quotation”

Yields a falsehood when amended to its own quotation

Do not read this sentence

If you know someone else, you are a lance

The first number not nameable in under ten words

If this is not true, there is an infinite amount of birds

Life

Life is like a pancake with maple syrup

Flat, but oozing with deliciousness

Life is like a dog with a stirrup

Joyful and exited, but heavy to carry

Life is like a cross-breed of a turtle and a cheetah

Sometimes it goes fast, other times it doesn’t

Life is like a metre

It doesn’t go forever

Life comes packaged with death

That is a requirement

Life is like that addictive chemical Meth

It is a drug

Cats

Cats are really amazing creatures

They like to groom their furry features

They like to chase a ball of string

They are very amazed with that thing

When I had a cat it attacked my cactus

We had to go see the medical practice

In the jungle there are a lot of cats

That don’t eat rats

In fact they even eat wildebeest

For them it is hardly even a feast.

These cats eat fresh meat

But because of the heat

They don’t need to cook their dinner

But it won’t make them thinner

But back to the domestic cats

That only eat rats

They sometimes are really crazy

But at other times they are really lazy.

Out to sea

We went to the beach one day

We came out at Botany Bay

So we all went out for a swim

But I strictly refused to come back in

I was warned by everyone

But I was having too much fun

So when I finally turned around

I could not see the beach, I found

I grabbed onto a wooden plank

Then jumped into a floating water tank

Inside I found a fishing rod

And a container that said “Infinite amount of bait for cod”

And so every day I would fish

And at dinner I would dish

Out bundles and bundles of seafood

On the item that said “BBQ” it stewed

Eventually after a year at sea

As it finally lost its mystery

I saw the faint sight of land

I wanted to go back their, but on the other hand

I had become used to sea

And the water tank that floated with me

But eventually I dragged the water tank onto the shore

And I admit that my heart was tore

But as I tried to find my mum

I realised that this was Belgium

“How did I get here?!” I exclaimed

As I tried to rack my brain

Then I realised that I had gone via the Arctic

And I had also gone passed the Antarctic

That is why it took a long time

And also why I never saw a lime

So I quickly tried to find a phone

But it seemed that I was alone

There was no town or community

There wasn’t even an opportunity

The largest thing that was there was an old collapsing tourist information shed

So I walked with my water tank until my head felt like lead

There I went to sleep in the tank

And in the morning I felt quite rank

But still I continued to walk along

Till I found a village called Jülküpünküng

Which I ended up living in

With some people called Mary and Jim

So this is the end of my epic saga

Bye to all, including you in Wagga Wagga

The umbrella

Today the date is the third of June

But all I can do is sit in my room

Because outside is a natural spectacle

Today you would not want a Popsicle

Outside it is pouring down

Even a baboon would give it a frown

As I look out my window and watch it come

I also watch the people run

To the safety of the undercover shelter

Several people just went helter skelter

Soon people came out with umbrellas

The smart little fellas

I too have taken my umbrella

And have gone to embrace the weather

When I was out there I met a man

Who, instead of an umbrella, had a pan

I asked him why

But he seemed to be shy

So he started to run

But another man took a gun

And shot him to death

And it was then that I left

Across the blood stained ground

And over that body of a mound

After I had witnessed this theft of life

And strife

I called the police

Who gave me a fleece

Then arrested the man

Who killed the man with the frying pan

As I walked home

I dropped my phone

When I picked it back up

It looked like a cup

Because it was full of water

It looked like manslaughter
